My office in Collier County was designed to defend your rights. I was employed with the State Attorney's Office for over seven years. As a prosecutor, I have gained valuable insight and knowledge of the internal workings of this government office. These are the people that will be attempting to prosecute you. I have worked alongside these people who want to take away your freedom. As a result I have developed a good working relationship with the prosecutors. However, it is important to note that I am not afraid to take on the State Attorney's office to assist you in receiving a fair trial.<p>I am originally from New York where I graduated from the Saint John's University School of Law. In 1997 I began working with the District Attorney's office in New York City. As an assistant district attorney I specialize in sex crimes which include Rape, Assault and Battery, and Domestic Violence. In December of 2001 my wife and I moved to Southwest Florida where I immediately began prosecuting at the State Attorney's Office of Lee County and shortly thereafter Collier County. I have since moved on to the other side of the spectrum. For almost a decade I have personally handled over 10,000 criminal cases with extensive trial experience in the following areas: Driving Under the Influence, Drug Offenses, Domestic Violence, Theft Crimes, Driving with a Suspended License, Assault and Battery. I have defended citizens of Collier, Lee, Broward, and Pinellas County in both misdemeanor and felony matters. I handle new arrest as well as Violations of Probation. | |
